MISE EVO

SYSTEM OF CUTTERS AND STOPPERS FOR SINUS LIFTING
Milling kit MISE EVO Sweden & Martina Sabettimed.jpg

MISE EVO is a system of cutters and stoppers which allows the atraumatic and gradual lifting of the maxillary sinus up to a height of 5-10 mm compared to the initial situation, with a simple, fast and safe technique, sufficiently standardized for a very high success rate.

Compared to other techniques that allow the insertion of a single implant, MISE EVO it can be used to insert implants whose width corresponds to the diameter of the system's cutters.

The enormous advantage compared to traditional techniques with osteotomes is given by the use of depth stoppers, which allow a gradual and perfectly predictable rise (progression of 1 mm) of the Schneider membrane, keeping it integral and minimizing patient discomfort, preventing benign paroxysmal vertigo syndrome, which is usually induced by the use of the surgical hammer.

The cutters, as main elements of the system, have a tip design designed specifically for the different phases of the MISE protocol:

  • first classic cutters, cylindrical, have the purpose of creating the preliminary housing;
  • Chamfered cutters, with the flat tip, manage to deform the sinus floor and break it if it is thin enough;
  • Break up cutters, as the name suggests, ideal for breaking the floor of the sinus when it is thick or very rigid;
  • the three rounded cutters, with a round tip and without cutting, allow the modification of the implant site and its progressive bringing to larger diameters to allow the insertion of implants up to 5.00mm. These cutters can be recognized due to the colored rings placed at the base, which follow a precise color code to guide the sequence of use.

The two manual tools included in the kit have a total of 3 plugger tips, with different diameters, which has a cavity that will allow you to push the filling material under the Schneider membrane without compacting it excessively, so that it can expand homogeneously. The other tip is a depth probe, essential for the stages of the system usage protocol. The angle of the handles is ergonomic, particularly useful especially in complicated clinical situations.
