Iris View
Iris View is a new concept of dental lamp. It is not only a device that provides optimal lighting in the operating field, but it is a tool capable of highlighting a superior image quality and precision in the smallest details in those branches of dentistry where precision is essential. Endodontics, periodontology, implantology, aesthetics, restoration and conservative treatments are ideal fields of application for Iris View.
Iris View is based on the belief that the quality of the medical act is strictly correlated with the possibility of perceiving the smallest details of the operating area. Iris View is an innovative product, because it allows you to enlarge and visualize the operating area, film, record the operation and set the functions on an iPad. All this is possible without having to change the way of working or long learning periods.
Iris View is a dental lamp with a video camera with Full HD resolution (1920x1080px) with Autofocus, which allows viewing the operating area with a 30x optical zoom.
The potential of this tool, applied in dentistry, is significant and consists in visualizing a detailed image of the operating area, highlighting details that are difficult to perceive with the naked eye, enhancing the professional's visual capabilities and improving eye strain, which leads to important advances in working methods .
Thanks to the light control option through the My Light application, the recorded images can be managed according to the needs of the specific activity. The central position of the lens and the alignment of the illuminated axis with the optical axis guarantee the optimal quality of filming.
The evolution of dental practice, increasingly digitized, creates the need for an exchange of information and multimedia documents to be cataloged and preserved. Iris View offers the possibility to record and transmit HD operations. Moreover, the video signal allows connection to a wide range of devices.
The possibility of recording and viewing operations is particularly useful for various scientific contexts, such as conferences, conventions and university lectures.
The use of a video camera facilitates and improves communication both with the patient and with the specialized staff. In the diagnostic phase, the conditions can be clearly displayed on the monitor, which ensures an immediate understanding of the problem.
Iris View allows adjusting the brightness intensity from 8000 to 35000 lux, adjusting the color temperature between 4200 and 6000 Kelvin and the color rendering index (CRI), fundamental in surgical treatments, because it emphasizes the contrast between soft and hard tissues.
During the operation, the specialized staff can follow the evolution in real time, and at the end the results of the work performed can be evaluated.
Settings can be selected from a keyboard that has 3 preset programs:
- anti-polymerization mode: 3000 K, reduces blue emissions to a minimum;
- surgical treatment: 4500 K, optimizes the color contrast on the soft tissues, better distinguishing the shades of the gums, blood and periodontium;
- color capture: 5500 K, creates a combination of cold and warm LEDs, which maximizes the color reduction index, facilitating the dentist's choice during tooth replacement operations.
Iris View can be managed through the application on the iPad, application that can be downloaded from the App Store) for complete Wi-Fi management of all the characteristics of the lamp.
