The Premium TG implants are dental fixtures with a transgingival conformation that complete the program of submerged implants, thus allowing to choose the most suitable fixture for any clinical situation.
The transgingival implants only require one surgery procedure for insertion because the transgingival part aids the healing of the soft tissues immediately after placement surgery.
The intraosseous morphology reflects that of traditional Premium submerged implants, which have obtained outstanding clinical results due to excellent primary stability and ease of insertion, as supported by extensive literature and publications. The emergence profile of the transgingival portion has been designed according to biological principles. The internal connection contains a cone that prevents unscrewing and offers excellent biological seal. A large hexagon is located on the base of this cone which allows simple and accurate repositioning of the posts.
The implants of the Premium TG system present only two connection platforms to guarantee maximum prosthetic simplicity: the “M” connection (Medium) has an outside diameter of 4.80 mm and is common to Premium implants with diameters of 3.30, 3.80 and 4.25 mm, while the “W” connection (Wide) has an outside diameter of 5.80 mm and is only present in implants with a diameter of 5.00 mm, always for both implant lines.
The M or W version is also present in the product codes of the prosthetic components, making it easy to identify the pieces to be used for rehabilitation.
The presence of a coupling cone allows using premade prosthetic components with a single body: these solutions are screwed to the prosthetic platforms without the need for separate screws. Of course, they are not repositionable, and cannot be removed once screwed into the site. In fact, once securely positioned, the conical friction provides an extremely high tightening capacity.
The hexagon positioned at the base of the connection cone allows using repositionable solutions, which are fixed to the implants with the aid of a through screw. These solutions are normally used when it is necessary to angle the prosthetic emergence of the post with respect to the implant axis, or when the posts need to be individualised, such that it is necessary to find an exact reciprocal position of the male connection relative to the female connection.
